Baitcon: Latest site update's up!

Rather than duplicate it here:
http://www.baitcon.org/2009/05/31/531-update/

(And the 'posts' have an RSS feed available, too. Don't add it here, though, please?)

T-shirt sales are well below expectations. Is this a conscious decision on everyone's part, or is there just lameness?

speaking for myself alone, lameness.

[identity profile] hourglasscreate.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
Uhh, you have noticed that little thing called the economy? I suspect there might be a tiny little correlation between it and t-shirt sales.

lameness - we need to get you money for memberships too

[identity profile] dmk.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 11:54 am (UTC)(link)
I'd like a couple of t-shirts, but can't attend due to insufficient vacation time. Anyone here willing to pick up a couple of shirts for me and take them to Worldcon? Or meet me in Boston area right before Worldcon? (I don't expect anyone to be down here in NC.)

We could meet up with you in Boston or at Worldcon (JB has a membership) or mail them to you in NC

lameness

[identity profile] gosling.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Lameness, mostly about getting Benjamin to pick what color shirt he wants. There will be an order for three shirts from our family eventually, maybe even today if we get our act together.

[identity profile] kimberlogic.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Your t-shirt goes thru the BCC order though :)

I'll just say here that I think it's wrong to push people to buy the t-shirts. Some folks - including you - have more than enough t-shirts, the economy is tight (hey, you're laid off too so you know what that's like) and-or they may not like the t-shirt.

Alyssa wants a med purple.

i tried to paypal it and my paypal said it was getting a bad address

[identity profile] 42itous.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, thanks for reminding me, I was too lame to choose a t-shirt earlier, so I'll do that now.

[identity profile] 42itous.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
So, it's expecting me to pay cash at the event, right? The website is unclear on that.

If you manage to add girly-Ts to the list, I would like one of those in addition: black, small or medium depending on how the sizes run, and I'm happy to pay extra for it.

[identity profile] forgotten-aria.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 02:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I just have WAY too many t-shirts.

[identity profile] pekmez.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 02:41 pm (UTC)(link)
we'll order 2 t-shirts soonish, but are lame.

[identity profile] hammercock.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you know anything about the shirt sizing? Like, do they run smallish, or roomy, or what? Some info about what shirts are being used would help me decide which size to order.

[identity profile] jbsegal.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I totally have and I thought, though I've had it pointed out else where that maybe I didn't clearly enough, that I included that in the 1st option - conscious decision...

[identity profile] rintrahroars.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Errr.. more brokeness than lameness? I'm hoping to get a couple, but funds are pretty low this year.

Given the monumental nature of the 20th Baitcon, I'd love to order a shirt. However, I won't be at the event. I'd love to order one if you'll mail it to me.
