Baitcon XVII Take 2!

We're back at The Abode again, and as promised last year the dates are 23-26 June.

F-Secure says that's a harmful website and has advised me not to visit it. Can you please check into that.

FSecure is wrong as near as I know. While we did once have a somewhat pwned wordpress problem, that was cleared up years ago.

Is there any more info you get from the program about things to tell the site owner, or anything?

Unfortunately, all it's giving me is

"Harmful web site blocked

http://wp.baitcon.org/

This web site has been reported as harmful.
We recommend that you do not visit this web site."

and then options for "safe search," "allow this web site," and "report site." That last looks as though it sends a report to F-Secure, which seems as though it would either be redundant, or increase their belief that the site is unsafe.

Honestly, I'd just whitelist it. But I've submitted it as a false positive to f-secure's response team (via https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/submit-a-sample ) and hopefully they'll fix their DB (or give me actionable data...)

Given how often sites that should be safe wind up with malware, I don't tend to whitelist anything without checking and/or waiting (though if you're not including ads the risk of malware would be low.)

I can't even think of a subject line.

Before I think too hard about going, I would like a decision from concom (and medical staff!) about whether my husband (Who I refer to as Otter) who is undergoing chemo for cancer is someone they'd be willing to have onsite. This might also have ramifications about food. I don't have a problem with this being in journal, but if you want to take it to email that's fine.

One of the med staff here -- "chemo" covers a wide variety of different treatments. Unless otherwise specified, I'm concerned about 1) food issues, as you mention; and 2) the effects of 100 of his closest friends on a potentially weakened immune system.
