The roller-coaster winds down.
Jan. 26th, 2006 03:12 pmKimberly posted a while ago about Merlin. At that point, the Travelling Vet had thought there was a reasonable possibility of him being ok for a while longer, but she wanted him to get an X-Ray because of some things she heard, which he just did.
Unfortunately, that showed congestive heart failure. They drew off 60cc or so to make him more comfortable but said that he's got 12-24 more hours to go.
Ted and Kimberly are bringing him home now and we'll figure out the last step from there.
Thank you all for your love and thoughts over the last couple of days. We'll all be needing your hugs in the time to come.

Date: 2006-01-26 08:20 pm (UTC)You have my hugs, my best wishes, my loving strength and my total understanding. I know this journey all too well.
I wish Merlin peace and rest. He's been a stunning fighter and a joy to know, however indirectly.

*hugs* Best wishes to you all.
