I managed to get a ticket. Yay. It was a really good show. I'm happy.
Perhaps I could be more verbose about it, but why? They're one of the great rock bands out there...they love what they do and it shows.

did I just completely space? I could, perhaps, like, LOOK at the sign at the theater. It's not like I didn't walk by there today some 4 times. sheesh.

No, I discovered it walking by there on the...10th or 11th, by which time they were sold out. So tonight I went to the theater and found someone who had an extra ticket and bought it.

I wish I could have gone with you but given that you discovered this on the 12th and they were sold out *and* I had a board meeting ... I guess you were meant to go alone. I officially apologize for doubting that there would be someone scalping or selling a single ticket (or ANY tickets) to the show at all tonight. I'm glad you got in :) and hey, kizmet as the radio was playing Cheap Trick as I drove home. :)

I found out about Cheap Trick playing in town about 3 days after the show was sold out. :(
