That's beautiful. It's exactly the sort of tihng I wake up saying. My current livejournal name and bio came to me verbatim as I was waking up a week or two ago. :)
I think that would go over really well with the fruedian folks... I mean a sock is *obviously* a, uh, place to put something in, and being pre-recorded, shows a desire to not have to perform live... So, tell me about your mother...
