jbsegalSo in January, after 3.5 years of Sarac nagging at me to come try Tech Squares, insisting that they weren't like most of the rest of the Modern Western Sqare Dancers in the world - they didn't wear silly clothes, they didn't just dance to bass and plunky guitar country records and that it was actually fun.
January rolled around and I convinced Joanne to come with me to the fun night (which only happens in Jan) and, what do you know, we actually had fun...
Now it's about to be September and the fall class is starting on September 2.
Come on...it's actually fun, when you're dancing with geeks.
The class is 14 weeks, tuesdays from 8-10:30 (there are breaks) and you should try to not miss anything. What Tech Squares learns in 14 weeks the rest of the Modern Western community thinks should take 40+.

(Edit: As has been pointed out, there's only one Sept. 2 per year and I'm busy on it...the fact that the 1st night of squares is also on 9/2 doesn't mean I suddenly have the day free...so I'll be there on 9/9...)
