My sentence ends this September; I'm not running again. I've put in enough time that they'll listen to what I have to say, anyway, without my having to be on the board.

Generally nuts are incapable of consent, being non-sentient. If you want to assume these are typical nuts, we can dispense with sentience tests. If you are unwilling to make this assumption, I refer you to the standard work for testing the sentience of typically inanimate objects. While the tests there were performed on Twinkies, I see no reason they could not also be performed on nuts.

Should the nuts prove (as expected) non-sentient, the owner of the nuts can consent. (I'm assuming the owner is sentient, but this too can be checked, as above). So, to find out if the owner of the nuts consented, ask JB whose nuts they were, and check.

I think this would be more appropriately puncutated "non-consensual-nut fucker". Given that we don't know the status of consent, it should be "allegedly non-consensual-nut fucker".

Heh. I served a total of 4 years in that position for Arisia, and I'm still not sure what I was thinking. (Actually, I do know, which was "I can do a better job than x." Which, while true, doesn't say anything about whether I actually wanted to do the job. I ended up burning out after last year's con, stopped going to meetings, and generally behaved in a way that my friends should not have let me get away with. But that's a separate post.)
