I saw some of those trees years ago, they are totally amazing and makes my gardening efforts seem pitiful... LOL

A tree is a beautiful thing, my acreage is old growth cedar and hemlock and I am awed every day by their strength and the feeling of serenity that emanates from them.

I've wanted to go to that park for a while now. It only recently opened up, no more than 3 years ago, I think. Now I have another reason to go, thanks!

And, oddly enough, I do remember reading about the trees in a Ripley's book.
