The house on Foskett St, at the corner of Willow Ave. (The corner nearer to us) is on fire.

One person was taken out on a stretcher that I saw.

At this point, it's mostly out, I think... but still, this is an unexpected turn of events.

There are at least 2 news choppers overhead and the Hood Blimp did a flyover.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get the car out of here when it's time to leave for work in 15m.

I just logged on to ask people what was going on. I can hear the choppers still at work, and I could smell smoke all the way from home to work today. Wasn't acrid though, smelled more like a wood fire. now i know.

Can drop cash off tomorrow. Thanks very much for organising--we enjoyed it very much. Other than prop bits falling apart, were any of the acts different from the usual sequence? I admit to having trouble following the plot-lines in Cirque shoes anyhow, so confusion over why something was happening (as opposed to being pretty!) is the norm for me.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the show today - working outside is working outside. I gather that they did Aerial Hoop at some point during the show... which is somewhat different.

Yep, we noticed the smokey smell coming out of Goodwill, and on the way home we counted helicopters and looked for smoke. When I saw where it was coming from, I walked down Willow to make sure it wasn't your place!

Yeah, willow is blocked off towards highland (it was blocked at highland, but then the block was moved further away).
