Alastair Moock @Toad tonight?

Seems that Alastair Moock, formerly local, now visiting, musician, is playing at Toad tonight. (Toad's in Porter Sq., next door to Christopher's.)

As Toad is a no-cover venue, I'm thinking of going. Anyone ever been to a show there? Is their AC up to the task it'll have tonight? Are the audiences typically into the music, or are they the sort who look at the stuff on stage as a distraction?

Anyone interested in coming along?

the atmosphere is awesome along with the music
people really listen to the music there

However, it is super tiny, so you should get there early for decent seating.

toad is INCREDIBLY tiny but a fun place to go. the crowd is mostly people who want to listen to the music, even if they don't know the artist. no comments on their AC though, since i don't think i've experienced it.

Toad is way too tiny for the stage to be just in the background. We went there for New Year's, and it was really pretty awesome.
