When should I come home?

jbsegalI'm going to be in SF from Jul 3-13(ish) and will be kicking around the area touristing for the 8-13ish. I'll be at the National Gay Square Dance Convention over that 1st weekend.
Should I come home on a Saturday night/Sunday morning red-eye, missing whatever the Bay Area has to offer for that night, and getting more rest on Sunday (before returning to work), or do I just push through it and come home on Sunday - again, probably on a red-eye - and go to work on Monday?
Also, if you're out there: A) Shall we visit? B) might you happen to have some crash space for some of the time? Possibly for 2 people - I'll be kicking around the area with another square dancer...
Also, what shouldn't I/we miss?
