More Cirque notes.

Of course, the tent was much warmer than the outside world yesterday, so I still ended up sweat-coated a number of times, but hey.
Got my shopping done. Still annoyed about Saturday, but hey.
Got to see the hoop act again during the 1st show. I still like it. Dergen was back for the 2nd show and in fine form.
I was on door 5 and the break schedule was such that I was the one getting out of the way for Claudio's run up the stairs for "Ne me quitter pas".
A tiring but fine day.
Now, ripping/listening to the Varekai album, it's interesting to note that I recognize about 1/4 of the music on it from the show. I'd love to figure out what's up with that.
The bonus CD of live tracks I know all of.
The bonus DVD (about 20m of content) shows that things have changed in the story part of the show since it 1st started out. I may have to buy/rent/borrow the DVD release to see if one or the other is 'better'...
The costume designer for this show is Eiko Ishioka... it wasn't until I watched the Bonus DVD that I figured out why the name (and, indeed, the style of the costumes) was vaguely familiar...
