Thought of the move...
Dec. 1st, 2002 04:47 amWhile helping Cee and Molly and David move today, when someone who hadn't been there before was suddenly there helping, I had this idea:
Guerrilla Moving Theater:
You're driving along. You see some people moving boxes into a house. You park and either pull the already made box you have in your back seat, or you construct the flat box you have waiting for this very occasion, get out of the car and haul the box into the house, along with everyone else who is similarly helping move.
You say hi to folks. If you can identify the folks who are living there, you wish them luck. Then you leave/vanish as quietly as possible.
Eventually, they'll discover the box you've left for them. Ideally it's full of really random stuff. Nothing harmful/distasteful.
You enjoy the feeling of having made someone's world just a little more.
