plymouth -- 1983 Chevy...shit...whatever they called the Chevy branded Isuzu IMark in '83...
I bought it used via a co-worker in '89 when the I had my 1st contract that needed a car to get there.
It died...hm...I think it was a cylinder going and it costing too much to repair it.

istemi -- I'm from NY, then moved to MD for a job in 89. However, I've been in fandom since '78...being based in NY and going to things like Boskone, Lunacon, Philcon and Balticon since...80? or so?...means that I met fen from all up and down the BosWash corridor years before I moved anywhere. I met Kimberly in MD in 92 and had known Ted - who's been Boston based most of his life - shortly after he moved into Fandom House. Ben put me on elbows in '87.

The story of him moving to DC and Us moving to Boston is long...but I think you see the threads of it here...
