I want to build a menorah...

It'll burn oil. It'll burn for 8 days, solid. It won't need refilling. It will burn with another wick each night.

I haven't figured out yet if the shamash will be a candle or another oil light.

But all in all, this means I want a menorah that will hold 44 (or 36) wick/days of oil...I wonder how big that is...

It might be miraculously small!

Seriously, though, a yarzeit candle has not that much wax for 24 hours. You can probably get longer burning oil/wax than that, too. . .

The mausoleum of the first Emperor of China (which has never been opened or raided)
is said to have whale oil lamps with enough oil to still be burning to this day...
(Although I wonder where they get the air from and where they exhaust to.)
