He was a truly gentle soul. I actually liked Captain Kangaroo better than I liked Mr. Rogers.
What's sad is that generations of kids are going to be growing up without Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo, as well as Sid & Marty Krofft shows. So much of that stuff really shaped my imagination as a kid.
