Georgia state school Superintendent Kathy Cox has decided that the word “evolution” is “…a buzzword that causes a lot of negative reaction” and should be replaced in all Georgia school curriculum with the phrase “biological changes over time”.

I agree. I hate buzzwords, don’t you? That’s why I think we should go one further and replace the phrase “slack-jawed backwater ignoramus” with the phrase “Kathy Cox”.

Just a suggestion.

The term `evolution' is rather a misnomer, harking back to the time when people imagined that germ cells contained miniature copies of adults, and that biological change was systematically pursuing various long-term goals. Literally, it means "unrolling", which is hardly in line with current thinking on the subject.

hmmm... interesting... that's really a cool thought. What would we call it today? Random-chance-olution? Dumb-fucking-luck-olution? Short it to "fuckolution" that also means the changes that come from beings fucking! :)
