So, last night I pointed folks at http://www.lse.org/gallery/Signs-Of-Life , which I'd just updated with some new pictures I'd taken. One set was of the "Internal Critique" winged thought baloon - http://www.lse.org/gallery/Signs-Of-Life/InternalCritique_full .

I took the pictures on Friday.

I rode by there today. It was gone.

I need to carry a camera at all times, in case I come across one...

Two on Cameron Ave?

Have you seen the two on Cameron Ave? They're just across the street from where I live at the corner of Cameron and Seven Pines. One is on a Stop sign the other is just a couple feet away on another street sign.

I've lived here for 2 years and haven't taken pictures of them, silly me :) But, I know they're both still up there, walked past em' today even.

This is similar to what's going on with the 150 pandas in the streets of DC this summer. It's only been a month or so and a half dozen or so have been vandalized.

Not quite, because the DC Pandas are official. Sonik's work just takes advantage of the ubiquity of signposts where he can hang his pieces. He knows that his stuff is likely to be ephemeral.
