bracing : cold :: ??? : hot
Date: 2005-05-23 08:26 pm (UTC)I read it as "bracing" as something you do to prepare yourself for something "cold" (weather, specifically, though I guess it could be ice cream). What is it that you do to prepare yourself for something hot?
And I'm not fully awake, but really... the best answer I've come up with so far is... bracing.
I can't think of what "bracing cold" would be.
Re: bracing : cold :: ??? : hot
Date: 2005-05-23 08:29 pm (UTC)adj : imparting vitality and energy; "the bracing mountain air"
[syn: brisk, energizing, energising, fresh, refreshing, refreshful, tonic]
What motivated you to wander back into my journal? :)
Re: bracing : cold :: ??? : hot
Date: 2005-05-23 08:38 pm (UTC)two things: a recent post of yours for which I lacked context. and a recent post made by someone else which was a pointer to an old post of his which I hadn't read because I didn't know back then that he had a journal.
insert grammar correctness as you see fit because I'm too tired to.
