It was on my birthday last time. Unfortunately, it was also cold and wet, which is the best way to make me miserable. Fortunately, I mostly recovered, and got to braid lots of hair, so it was good.

my hair has gotten long enough to braid, but the novelty will still be there at that time since my braiding skills have gone out the window in the past few years of having short hair.

Hee! Probably no need, since if it goes like my other braiding parties, a sort of informal queue just forms and I work when I can. Of course, this assumes I can actually get up there. Working on it!
