Spending most days on a college campus, I see a lot of this. You just can't wear those kind of pants unless you're beanpole skinny, and most people aren't (nor should they be). But yeah, I see a lot of girls with non-model bodies trying to walk around in the bim-gear and it is really unflattering and sorta sad.
Not just if you have a gut. OK, so I have a *little* bit of a gut, but if you've got a butt at all (like I do) you get the same effect -- up in the back, down in the front, bulge where one don't belong. I've had that problem forever. Tres annoying. I just do a little internal video editing and pretend it's not there.
Hmmm, must be the company I keep these days, but I had come to assume that looking like you're packing was considered one of the perks and purposes of that cut.
