Does anyone know anyone with a plow? Now that the driveway's empty of cars, I'd love to get what's left there pushed to the back before it forms even more of an ice slick. I'd also like to get the street egress widened.

I figure this should take 5 (at most 10) minutes and will pay a fairly obscene hourly rate for those 5-10 minutes. :)

Problem is that I'm not home and won't be til 10+ tonight, so someone who takes cards or paypal or will trust me to pay a bill would be great.

(Laurie: You're out on the street...)

If you just call one of the local tow truck companies or landscapers, most of them also fit their trucks with plows at this time of year so they can make extra cash. Sorry I can't offer more help than that. Do any of your neighbors have a snowblower???

Ironically, we have a snowblower. But, (1) it's lost in the basement, and (2) since it was never used, there is no gasoline in it.

Did they sneak over and fix your roof silently in the middle of the night?
