A meme. How odd.
Jun. 15th, 2008 05:44 pmOk, I almost never (EDIT: 13ish in 6+ years?) post memes.
I kinda had to do this one... (EDIT: again...)
Based on the lj interests lists of those who share my more unusual interests, the interests suggestion meme thinks I might be interested in
1. mit score: 13
Well, yeah.
2. square dancing score: 12
Well, yeah, duh. (I'm surprised I don't have that listed, actually)
3. random hall score: 7
I have a fair number of friends/friendly-type folks who live or have lived there.
4. zephyr score: 6
Thank you, dementia.org people!
5. girl genius score: 6
Quite fond of it... been reading it since it started in single-issue form. Still want issue 2 of D'arc Tangent
6. eclectic music score: 5
Duh
7. chain mail score: 5
Haven't made it in years, but yeah.
8. pinewoods score: 5
I keep sort of meaning to go to something there.
9. arisia score: 5
Duh.
10. ihtfp score: 5
Only indirectly, but yeah.
11. connie willis score: 5
Never actually read anything by her... should I?
12. nethack score: 5
I dated the now-wife of the original author of Hack for a few years, a long time ago, but never got in to the game itself... but close enough. :)
13. slack score: 4
My reverend-ship expired years ago, but I was so slack that I never paid for it in the 1st place. And hey, I still am sort of proud of what the NYU SubGenius Alliance accomplished.
14. elbows score: 4
21 years and counting.
15. body paint score: 4
Not on me, but I do admire it often on others.
16. buckaroo banzai score: 4
I love that movie.
17. lunasa score: 4
Y'know, I don't know that I've ever heard any of their music, but I've meant to.
18. klezmer score: 4
Some. Especially in a world-beat context.
19. course 19 score: 4
I've never actually done any course 19 work, though I've sort of meant to for years.
20. cute people score: 4
And finally, a resounding Duh!

Date: 2008-06-16 05:21 pm (UTC)At her best, she combines cool storytelling and humor (all of the above, including Doomsday book, despite its, um, other stuff). At her worst (Lincoln's Dreams, certainly. Not impressed with Passage either.), she bores me.
So where's the link to whatever gave you these results?
