There have been 3 series so far??? How did I not know about this???
All of you DW/TW fans... you've let me down! (And my own obsessive nature has failed me, too.)

(Also, WTF is this not doing on BBCA or SciFi?)

{sigh}

There's a reason: it's awful.

I wouldn't say it's completely awful.

A few of the episodes are good.

Speaking of things your friends should have told you about, have you seen TV show "The Middleman"? It was a summer replacement two years ago on ABC Family cable. Only 12 episodes were shot. The 13th episode was released as a comic book.

It's sort of a campy version of "X Files".

YES - Everyone must watch The Middleman!

JB - I think the UK it's considered more for kids, which may be why adults find it awful.

I know it's a Kids Show... but... it's Sarah Jane! :)

And Dr. Who itself used to be much more kid-friendly, back when I fell in love with it. So I'm ok with that.

You... didn't know?

I have series 1 and 2 on dvd if you want to borrow them. I warn you, they're kiddie stuff, but I really do love them.

I didn't care much for it.
It seemed geared toward the pre-teen age group and I found it not very interesting. Sometimes things geared toward that age group can be very good and engaging, it was meh.

My 9 year old likes SJA, the 11 year old doesn't. But the new K9 series? Both of them go "OMG SQUEEEE!!! ROBOT DOG!!!"

It's another show aimed at young teens. It's okay, but they have trouble with continuity from one episode to the next.

The guy who invented the K9 character owned the rights the to character (not the BBC). This means that K9 is the only character from Doctor Who that's in the show (not even the monsters).

A company in Australia is producing the show, and luckily for them, Disney bought the company. So it's been airing in Australia and Europe on one of Disney's channels.

Actually, the first season did run on Skiffy (Sorry, Skiffi) along with Doctor Who for a little while last year. It is camp, it is geared more toward kids, but I like it. I have no idea if it will cross over with Doctor Who again anytime soon.

I have no idea why it isn't on BBCA. Oh, wait, they're running endless reruns of Changing Spaces.

Yeah, I assumed when they didn't show any more than S1 that that was all there was... but NO...
