You know what's annoying?

When you finally get around to doing your taxes (Hey, at least it's > 24h in advance of deadline (when I started, at least)) and you get to the Filing part of it, and the online system you're using locks up, such that you can't actually DO the filing... and when you log out and back in and try it again (having to repeat only a few minor steps, luckily), it locks in the same place.

I'm sort of going to assume their ops folks are NOT happy right now and I'll try again tomorrow, but STILL...

If you happen to find a phone number for having login problems please let me know. The website doesn't recognize my login name though it's the login in name it provided me when I asked for the prompt. I have spent 2.5 in the last 24 hours on hold and phone trees trying to get to a human who can solve this. So far nothing. Paper filing for now but I'd like to have ability to log on.

No, you didn't. I did make an assumption that you needed to use their portal as that's the entry point for all services that I know about. I'm sorry if that was incorrect.

This year above all other years I've been infinitely grateful to have a different human responsible for filing our taxes. The merger made dealing with the stock transactions a royal pain in the butt. That said, she was e-filing, and I suspect she ran into similar difficulties as you based on her extremely frazzled email to me and several other clients late the night before the deadline.
