I just made the following support request:
http://www.livejournal.com/support/see_request.bml?id=352902 :

Originally, this was a complaint about mis-dated email posts:
"While FAQ 33 mantions that your computer's clock and/or javascript problems can cause entries to be misdated, it says nothing about emailed entries.

I sent 3 messages via my cell phone (TMobile) today, at around 2:30pm, 6:40pm and 6:42pm (eastern).

http://jbsegal.livejournal.com/100703.html is dated 10/7/04 1:20pm

http://jbsegal.livejournal.com/101115.html
10/8/04 3:49am

and
http://jbsegal.livejournal.com/101332.html
10/9/04 12:39am

I'd just blame TMobile, but I'm not at all certain it's their fault - a piece of email sent to a test correspondant came through correctly datestampted."

Then everything changed:

Oh my gods. I just discovered: These email posts have OVERWRITTEN previous entries, deleting the posts and their comments.

This is amazingly bad.

Is there any way to get things back the way they were?

I'd have to guess that some code needs to be fixed ASAP!

(Oh: does this form submit securely? It's asking for my password...)

Thanks!
