Always ask...
Oct. 3rd, 2005 01:35 amSo, last weekend, Kimberly and I ate at Traveller's Book Restaurant in CT while coming home from my Mother's 70th birthday celebration.
One of the books I got was "How To Play The 5-String Banjo" by Pete Seeger - 3rd Ed. revised 1962, with the 1985 foreward.
I've been kinda thinking about playing around with learning to play the banjo for, well, ages.
Subsequently, I've been ocassionally asking if anyone has a banjo I could borrow.
I asked at a party I was at tonight, just because.
I got _two_ positive responses - one from one of the hosts.
I now have a loaner banjo.
Always ask.
