So, I've got this banjo. I've also got almost no experience getting string instruments tuned by ear.

Anyone have a tuner I can borrow for (a while..)?

I've never used a tuner -- when I played guitar (some years ago now) I would just tune the strings to each other, and once in a while, use an A440 tuning fork to keep it close to absolute tune. I can show you how to do this.
